S&M (Sexy and Marvelous): The Rihanna Look

Who wants to look like a pop diva? Sexy? Seductive? Delicious? Well don’t worry gals, I’m going to get you there without the hassle and worry about spending too much. Today’s inspiration came from one of my favorite websites Fashiolista.com (check it out). They posted some awesome pictures of their version of the Rihanna look. Talk about hot! They hit the nail right on the head and convinced me to expand my horizons and invest in some edgier garments.

The “Rihanna Look” was comprised of a lot of edgy and sexy dresses, skirts and leather jackets. But it also had some fun, sweet and girly clothing as well. A perfect mix of the two and you would have an awesome, fun, and intense look that would have everyone asking, “Who does she think she is?” After all, if the heads aren’t turning then you’re not doing a good job, but don’t fret. I’m going get them turning.

Well enough about the look, let’s talk about GETTING the look. Where do you shop?? Well, I have a couple of favorite stores that are pretty popular and fun that have some awesome items fit for you and this style.  My first store of interest would be Rue21. Rue21 always has great deals and there is one located in Vienna for all my local Parkersburg citizens.  With constant coupons, Rue21 makes shopping so inexpensive and easy. According to Rue21.com, They have some great leather jackets, sateen jackets with zipper embellishments; zebra print dresses, and an array of bandage and tight skirts. Perfect for the edgy Rihanna.

What about her soft side though? I mean she is a girl! Well to bring you’re softer side, I decided to check out my all time favorite website, Gojane.com. GoJane is the best website for anybody on a budget and they give you free shipping if you spend over $50. Not that any of us would spend that much on clothes (wink wink). For the creamier side of Rihanna, try out some neon button front blazers, asymmetrical or bias cut tees and tanks, ruffled skirts, or the colorblock dresses with ruffled or flowy bottoms.

Now when you shop at both places don’t be surprised when you come across edgy clothes on Gojane.com or girly clothes at Rue21. These are merely suggestions to get those creative juices following through your body and bursting out your pores into your closets and then on the streets, where you can work it like it’s your very own runway.
