MyFOX Fort Wayne Fact Sheet
With the announcement that beginning August 1st Fox network programming will be moving to the new MyFox Fort Wayne, we’re sure there will be plenty of questions in the months to come. Below are a few fast facts to help aid in the transition and alleviate any confusion.
• Beginning August 1st, Fox primetime and sports programming will be seen on MyFox Fort Wayne broadcast over the air on digital 33.2. These are Fox prime shows like Glee, American Idol, NFL football, NASCAR as well as new Fox fall shows like The X Factor and Terra Nova.
• The move does not affect in any way NBC programming on NBC33 (33.1)
• This move resulted from a contract dispute between Fox Broadcasting and the parent company of WFFT, Nexstar Broadcasting. Their affiliation agreement expired over a year ago with no resolution. Fox recently approached Granite as a possible outlet for Fox programming. This is unrelated to WFFT news, ownership, staff or other syndicated programming on that channel.
• MyFox Fort Wayne will have a live 16:9 newscast weeknights at 10pm
• MyFox Fort Wayne is currently available free over the air on 33.2, Comcast 252, Fios 9 and Mediacom 62. Granite is working with all cable & satellite providers to have full HD channels available by the August 1st launch. A complete guide will be posted on our website at incnow.tv as well as FB. INC will also have a toll free hotline to answer questions leading up to and following the switch.
• Fox programming nor 10pm news on the new MyFox Fort Wayne is not related to the Fox News Channel.
• To maximize full HD quality, 24/7 radar and weather ticker on The VIPIR Channel will be moving over the air from its current location on 33.3 to 21.3 (but remains on Comcast 249).

When Fox approached Granite Broadcasting about moving the network from WFFT, Granite executives jumped at the opportunity.
The Ft. Wayne station, to be known as WISE-TV/DT is currently a MyNetworkTV affiliate. The station will air a local newscast five nights a week at 10 P.M. and operate out of WISE-TV's existing Butler Road offices in Ft. Wayne that house its news, sales, marketing, engineering and management team.

If someone has owned that domain name since 1999, how can the U.N. just give it to someone else? They call that act of waiting for someone to need it “cybersquatting,” but I call it good business. I’d buy a domain name if I thought that one day someone would want it to promote their movie or something else. And then I’d sell it for an excessive amount of money… like I’m sure this guy wanted to do.
How is that legal to just give it to someone else? That’s bs if you ask me.

This is an open and shut case of cybersquatting. First, the domain was registered after The Simpsons appeared on television and after The Simpsons became a hit. Second, the squatter is acting in bad faith by hoping to extort $ 50,000 from The Simpsons for a trademarked name. Third, the squatter is attempting to make a profit from the traffic generated solely by a trademarked name, i.e., the squatter did absolutely nothing to create traffic. He is merely capitalizing on a trademarked name for his personal gain.
